UK & EU Customers

UK Customers

As of January 1, 2021 UK requires sellers outside of the UK to register and charge VAT on all orders. Therefore at this time all UK orders must be placed through our Etsy site. 

  • For purchases under £135  - you will be charged VAT at checkout and no other fees will be required when your order arrives in your country 
  • For purchases over £135  - VAT and handling fees will be collected from the buyer by the postal carrier

*If an order for the UK is placed through the site, it will be refunded* 

NOTE: Due to available stock, certain items may not be available on our Etsy shop, I will try to make some pre-order listings. However, if there are items that you would like to purchase not shown on our Etsy site, please send us an email or message on IG and I can create one for you :) 

EU Customers

As for July 1st, 2021 the EU have updated their VAT legislations. Previously, orders to the EU that cost over €22 were not subjected to custom fees. With the new rules, ALL orders are now subject to custom fees regardless of cost. 

The EU has launched a new system to help with collecting VAT for sellers outside of the EU called the Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS). This would help sellers receiving orders under €150 to collect VAT upfront at the point of sale which allows the package to pass through customs and be delivered to the cusomer without the customer having to pay any handling or custom fees. 

However, in order to sign up for IOSS we would need to find a registered financial intermediary that's based in the EU to help us keep track of our taxes. Finding a financial intermediary is quite expensive especially for a small business like myself that is still building up a customer base in the EU. So I have made the decision to hold off on signing up for IOSS for now. 

What this means for EU customers:

  • You can still make purchases through our site, however, you WON'T be charged VAT at the time of purchase and will likely have to pay custom fees (and possibly a handling fee) when you pick up your package 
  • You can make your purchase through our Etsy shop
