Meet the Team~

Connie

Hey there! I'm Connie, the artist behind Connii's Craft Studio. I started my studio in 2020 as a way to share my love of plushies with those around me. As a lover of arts and crafts, I have since expanded my creations from amigurumi to other crochet designs and various stationery items - including stickers and washi tapes - with new ideas always in the works!

My studio's goal is to craft a world of all things cute and cozy! Each piece is handmade and packaged with love, hoping to bring a little extra dose of happiness to someone's day. 

The Hubby

The hubby wears a ton of hats around here - he's my research team, production assistant, sales guy and heavy lifter all rolled into one! But honestly, his most importatnt job is just being my biggest cheerleader. I wouldn't be able to run this studio or do half the things I love without him by my side.

The Little One

The newest member of the studio! His main job is just looking cute and keeping me motivated while I work (though he can be quite the distraction sometimes). He's still in training, but you might spot him hanging out with us at some of our in-person markets!

In the beginning...

For as long as I can remember, I've been someone who loves making things. As a kid, I tried to recreate pretty much anything I saw on a show called Art Attack - and trust me, a lot of those projects did not turn out the way they did in the show, but creating always made me happy.

The real love for yarn came from my grandma. Her house was always full of the beautiful things she made, and she's the one who first taught me how to knit. Even now, whenver I pick up a hook or some needles, I instantly feel closer to her.

Eventually, my love for collecting plushies collided with my crafting hobby, and I started sewing little sock plushies as gifts for friends and family. I was honestly so surprised when people started asking if they could buy one or request custom ones. Seeing how much happiness these little creations brought to people blew me away. That happiness is the exact reason I decided to open this studio and share them with everyone!

Fun Fact #1

I'm a HUGE bubble tea and food enthusiast! I love tracking down new places to eat, and I have a major obsession with anything and everything mango!

Fun Fact #2

I'm a bit of a bookworm and mostly lose myself in fiction and rom-coms. My absolute favourite series to date is Harry Potter (we don't talk about JK), Vampire Diaries, the Shadowhunter series by Cassandra Claire, and basically everything written by Christina Lauren.

Fun Fact #3

Being a Disney adult is basically a core part of my personality. I've been lucky enough to visit Disney World and Universal Studios in Orlando at least six times now - it's a bit of a problem, but I love it! My biggest goal is to visit all the Disney parks around the world - so far, I've made it to three out of the six!
